Today the 20th of November marks the birth of a new
beginning for IDA Kochi with one team of office
bearers giving way to a new team. We hope your
prayers help us to flourish in this new beginning
which we are rightfully embarking on.
It is a great privilege and honor to be presented
with this opportunity to be the President of the
most prestigious IDA branch in our state. And I do
understand that with this post comes a great sense
of responsibility as well.
I take this opportunity to congratulate and thank
the three mail pillars- the Past President Dr.
Noorudeen, Hon. Secretary Dr. Arun Babu and the
Treasurer Dr. Jaykumar S, for investing in growing
capabilities and possibilities and expanding the
good will of our branch and coming closer towards
creating a powerful new brand- ‘IDA Kochi’.
This occasion would be picture perfect to convey my
heartfelt gratitude to all those members whose
leadership facilitated our branch to make strides to
reach the present status. As a mark of respect I
salute all the presidents and leaders of yesteryears
of our association and with open arms I welcome
every dental surgeon who intends to join our
fraternity.
It is our commitment that we perform to the fullest
and rally around everyone to bring forth programs of
quality for all sections of our association. I
believe we should sustain what we are doing well and
bring in innovations and change to bring more
participation and color to our programs. We hope to
have our traditional monthly meetings, executive
meetings, CDE programs, workshops, Family get
togethers, Cultural Nights, Non Dental Talks, Public
dental health programs, programs in association with
other organizations and sure we will also try to
stage IDA national and State programs whenever we
have a chance. And we will work in unison with other
local branches, the state and head office.
I believe our Journal has to be our pride and all
efforts will be made to bring forth a journal which
incorporates dentistry and branch activities. I am
certain; the Bulletin of Indian Dental Association
Kochi Branch would stand tall.
Your participation is the gratitude to the work we
do and hence I appeal to all our members to come in
numbers for all our programs. And I promise that we
will not disappoint you.
Our Organization works on Team work, which means “I”
and “You” doesn’t have significance. The need of the
hour is ‘WE’ and for that to happen, I need all your
support. Friends, without each and every one of you,
IDA Kochi wouldn’t achieve greater heights. My
message to you is – LETZ STAND TOGETHER FOR THERE IS
LOT TO ACHIEVE…
